Alessi Cafe (Taichung, Taiwan)

In all my procrastination and bumming around post-midterm one, I've gone back to my unlogged photos and fooding destinations in Taiwan, and found pictures to Alessi Cafe.  Located inside a department store adjacent to the actual Alessi store, which sells lots of cool mod-looking kitchen gear, Alessi Cafe caught my eye when we were just shopping around.  Me, Emily, and the aunties were all tired of window-shopping, so we decided to stop here for a cup of coffee.

It's been a while since I was here, so I can't say I remember much about the drinks - other than that they were just ok.  My iced mocha looked pretty, so I ordered it, but it wasn't great, and the powder made it a bit grainy.  The latte was not bad, and we thought the affogato was funny cause the berries were frozen, which isn't something you find in the States.  Either way, it was a convenient pit stop, albeit an expensive one...

Oh, and a tip is - it might be cheaper to get a "set" meal with food and a drink.  It's a better deal!
