Euro Pane Bakery (Pasadena, CA)

Recently I've been into good bread (doesn't even need to be "artisan") and so me and Emily decided to continue our fooding adventures at Euro Pane, a popular bakery that serves giant macarons.  When we arrived it was already a bit late, so we decided on the Europane French Dip (9.25) and the Croque Monsieur.  I typically like a good croque monsieur, and this one was with bechamel sauce and cheese, which sounded interesting.  The bread for the sandwich was really delicious, but the texture of the cheese, bechamel sauce, and meat together wasn't that great, and the combination was too salty for me!

The french dip was also a bit salty, but the baguette was really delicious!  The meat was a bit dry without the dip, but the dip made the sandwich even saltier, so we had to do without.  We concluded that the bread from Euro Pane is a must, but we might pass on their sandwiches.  The cinnamon roll was also delicious, but not the best one that I've had.  Too flaky and too little cinnamon!  I would definitely go back for their bread, and maybe their salad, since lots of people dining there were having salads.  I also didn't get a chance to try their macarons...
