Vegetarian Linguini with Goat Cheese and Lemon

I'm always scared of using too much cheese for my pasta sauce, but decided that I would try the goat cheese and lemon combination that I've been seeing around in pasta recipes.  If you dare, for a heavier white sauce, the following recipe is a fairly simple and earthy recipe that you can toss any pasta in!

1 standard package of goat cheese (~6 oz)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 tbs chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (coriander)
1 red onion
5 brown/button mushrooms or mushrooms of choice
bunch of asparagus or green beans
salt and pepper to taste

Cut up the garlic, onions, mushrooms, and asparagus or green beans, and pan fry with a little bit of oil until done. Mix the goat cheese, olive oil, and spices/herbs together.  Add the two together, then voila! Pasta sauce that serves 4-6. Yay, food for the week!
